Audience Member All human life is here in this impressive showcase of new UK film-makers. Stand-out talents to emerge are Layke Anderson's 'Shopping' in seamy Soho; the witty and intriguing 'The Door Into' and George Taylor's delicate technique with 'Dog Days' and pinpoint economy of word and action in 'Felines' --where you also get a star-turn from Juliet Stevenson. Excellent. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member What a fantastically creative idea this was and more than repaid the ticket. I loved seeing the new ideas and way of seeing. I particularly enjoyed George Taylor's Dog Days which had a luminous feel and a truth about it. The final shot was beautiful Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member George Taylor outstanding Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Ian Freer Empire Magazine The overriding feeling is of a film school degree show: good intentions and the odd impressive moment, but little that ultimately delivers. Rated: 2/5 Jan 22, 2019 Full Review Cath Clarke Guardian Inevitably, a good chunk of the shorts are underdeveloped or let down by amateur acting. But it is an impressive achievement on a next-to-nothing budget. Rated: 3/5 Jan 18, 2019 Full Review Matthew Bond The Mail on Sunday (UK) The short film needs all the help it can get, so it's good to see this collection of London-based shorts being so effectively linked. Rated: 3/5 Jan 22, 2019 Full Review Nikki Baughan The List As with most anthology films, it's something of an uneven experience, but linking themes of alienation, opportunity and change, together with its admirable creative and cultural ambitions are strong enough to make it a diverting whole.
