After Marshal Brady (Gene Alsace) gets shot by a gang of outlaws led by Duke Lawson (Charles King), rancher Tom Sterling (Tom Keene) decides to go undercover and join the gang in an attempt to bring the bandits down and save the town. Aided by his faithful sidekick, Lopez Mendoza (Frank Yaconelli), and young belle Betty Grey (Betty Miles), Sterling believes he can stop the criminals. But Lawson quickly grows suspicious of his new recruit, and the rancher finds his life in jeopardy.
