Frank Yaconelli
Frank Yaconelli was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Yaconelli began his acting career with roles in such films as "Firebrand Jordan" (1930), "Strawberry Roan" (1933) with Ken Maynard and "Death Takes a Holiday" (1934) with Fredric March. He also appeared in "It Happened One Night" (1934) with Clark Gable, "Lawless Riders" (1935) and "Down to the Sea" (1936). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the thirties and the forties, appearing in "It Could Happen to You" (1937), "Across the Plains" (1939) and the Jack Randall western "Trigger Smith" (1939). He also appeared in "East Side Kids" (1940). Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in the Tom Keene western "Western Mail" (1942), "Where Trails End" (1942) and "Arizona Round-Up" (1942). He also appeared in the Gilbert Roland western "South of Monterey" (1946) and the western "Beauty and the Bandit" (1946) with Gilbert Roland. Yaconelli more recently acted in the Mario Lanza musical "Serenade" (1956). Yaconelli was married to Ruth Findlay. Yaconelli passed away in November 1965 at the age of 67.
