Jamie Intense and very emotional. This movie shines a light on what many of our soldiers most likely go through. To that point, you never know what is going on in someone elses mind. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/07/23 Full Review Chris B My wife and I just watched it and are emotionally drained. Outstanding movie and one of the better stories I've seen play out. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/24 Full Review Daria P I had goosebumps from some scenes… The story is sad and powerful but we must watch it for our own awareness. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/24 Full Review Joel S Well done, it's a striking portrayal of PTSD and worth watching. This is what a lot of veterans have gone through when coming home. Be sure to catch strong performances from Alexander Randazzo, Allison McAtee, and John Ashton. A+ Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/24 Full Review Travis J Alexander Randazzo's performance was masterful. "Lonesome Soldier" is a poignant and powerful film that beautifully portrays the harrowing journey of a small-town Midwestern musician turned soldier. Through heart-wrenching trials including the losing his wife to addiction, his PTSD from combat, and the grief of losing his battle buddy, the film embodies the raw realities of military and small town life. The protagonist's gripping struggle with drug dependency upon returning home adds a layer of depth to the narrative, making his eventual redemption all the more compelling. Ultimately, "Lonesome Soldier" delivers a moving message of hope, responsibility, and the enduring power of love and family. A ten-star must-watch that will linger in your heart long after the credits roll. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Janet L This is an important film because it takes you on a journey that is too real for many. I watched it with my husband and I related to the strength and unconditional love of the mother while he was brought to anger because this young man's life was robbed by circumstances beyond his control. It shows the very real consequences of the decisions made by a few that affect so many more. Alexander Randazzo delivers a realistic performance. You are inside his emotions and feel the depth of his pain. Although it is hard to watch I am glad I did. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
