See more Robert G @BobbyGeee Feb 1 I went into this movie with low expectations and was completely blown away. The performances across the board were strong, with no weak links in the cast. The script works well overall, the scenery is effective, and the film is anchored by consistently solid acting. Eden Brolin exceeded expectations. I assumed she may have benefited from her lineage, especially since I’m a big fan of her father, Josh Brolin, but she clearly shows real training and discipline. She holds her own and is very likely a rising star. Frank Grillo continues to be reliably excellent. I always give his films a chance, and once again he delivers. The action is very well done and largely maintains suspension of disbelief. While a couple of scenes feel overdone, most of it is bang on. There are a few narrative choices that don’t fully make sense, but the film’s strengths easily outweigh its weaknesses. Overall, it was a genuinely surprising and highly enjoyable watch that far exceeded expectations. See more Chris S @Medicnco17 Jan 3 I truly enjoyed this movie. The storyline was engaging, and I felt the characters were portrayed very well. The Sicario’s performances stood out, and it kept me thoroughly entertained. Who the hell is paying the budget for these movies and actors. I assume they had an ammo artic lorry following them around to fill up on bullets !! Grillo is a millionaire from making the same movie over and over again. See more Danta P Aug 14 👍🌟 Good film. Really helps shine a light on just how CORRUPT the fossil fuel industry IS. Added to that, the fact the likes of the global North superpower nations GENUINELY LOVE to get their evil hands in the pies. This sort of thing IS happening around the world everyday, and it's KILLING many innocent people, both directly and indirectly. Yes tye film is predictable, but who cares when it is putting the spotlight on greed and corruption of the global North and fossil fuel companies. See more ARNEZ C @Arny6tearz May 25 And Frank brings it again this time he plays Gunner a corrupt official which is his sister-in-law who's daughter gets caught up after she interviews man who gives her all the information about corruption and Venezuela which the streets are war zone plenty of action good story and just kick ass action flick This is a definitely a great one to enjoy!
