Kimber Myers Los Angeles Times With its good use of a single location and just three characters, Long Lost almost works, though its fun twist would have felt fresher a decade ago. Apr 1, 2019 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Unfortunately, while Long Lost has its moments, it ultimately fails to capitalize on its intriguing premise. Apr 1, 2019 Full Review Dev Shea 1428 Elm The video and audio quality is great, the acting is both uncomfortable and hilarious but in a great way and the story is interesting. Regina P I just felt by the end that the entire film was pointless. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/16/23 Full Review JJJJJJ J The ending was a bit of a let down but the rest was really good. Over the first hour and hour and fifteen in someways nothing happened yet it was always able to keep me engaged. There were some shots that could have been better here and there but the rest was really well done. The film was aware of its limitations and for the most part was really engaging. Two of the three main characters were really well done and kept me interested throughout. I'd recommend this to horror fans, or anyone who really likes the "invited to rich crazy persons house" horror genre. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I always have trouble writing a review for this film. While I really enjoyed the film, I don't consider it a horror film. Along the way, we learn about the true intentions of each character, but then you question if their intentions are true or not, once again leaving you to scratch your head as to what's going on. It includes characters who are hard to read (a good thing), which is helpful as it builds up for an ending that is a pure mind-fuck (another good thing). Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolutely brutal to sit through. I feel awful about such a low rating given to any film that's horror or horror-adjacent, (the latter in this case), but it's hard to take anything that happens on screen here remotely seriously. And not in a way that still allows for a different kind of enjoyment; I mean it really makes you want to punch it in the face for wasting your time before the first "act" is done. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member The camera work and directing are quite effective as well. The story is a thriller that starts with a child-like game between house-guests that builds the tension by having one participant become unhinged, leading to twisted results. Great acting seals the deal on a unique thriller. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Not worth watching. The reveal was stupid and the end was dissapointing.
