One day, immigrant Luka (Joel Bissonnette) spies the pretty Jo (Kim Huffman) stealing from a store and ends up pursuing her, even though she already has a boyfriend. However, Jo, her boyfriend, Ted (Ben Ratner), and her brother, Johnny (Darcy Belsher), all dabble in crime, making them dangerous people to cross. When Jo and Luka are in a compromising position, Johnny walks in on them. This leads to a scuffle during which Johnny is killed by Jo, although it is Luka who gets implicated.
