Lore is a akin to a bourgeois German version of Elem Klimov's 1985 Belarus-set Come and See, and it has some outstanding features. The star turn is the lurking cinematography of Adam Arkapaw.

Lore (2012) A Different View of WWII (12,586 – 24 Jul 2026 – Claudio Carvalho) "Lore" (2012) is a coming-of-age drama with a different view of WWII through the eyes of children from a Nazi Officer and members of the Hitler Youth after the defeat of Germany. Lore is forced to trust in one Jew teenager that she was taught to hate while she discovers the truth about the extermination of Jews. Her inner fight is visible through the magnificent performance of Saskia Rosendahl. The cinematography through the countryside of Germany is stunning and the performances are outstanding. The conclusion is very impressive. My vote is seven. Title (Brazil): "Lore"

Absurdly far-fetched. The devotion of the Jewish survivor to the kids and their to him is in the real of Harry Potter. It dosn't work in the way that Huck Finn does.
