Audience Member This is an indie movie for a bunch of indie people trying to be indie . Liked it tho 3.6 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/03/21 Full Review Audience Member If you want a holiday film that's not a sickly sweet family-fest, but instead a darkly humorous caper about the tradeoffs of adulting in today's world, go watch this smart, entertaining film. It's full of great performances, especially the lead actress and her best friend/partner in crime, who also co-wrote and co-directed the film with his brother. The characters seem like people you may have grown up with, dated, or met at a party that one time. The script is subtle and creative and it's a treat to watch a movie that feels like it was written by smart people who think you are smart enough to not need spoon feeding. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a subgenre thriller flick which leaves room for interpretation and worth watching more than once! It manages to split the finer hairs of acceptable genre along the lines of Pulp Fiction or Woody Allen. I recommend it highly. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member a twisted funky nostalgia trip of a whodunit. loved the performances and the ingenuity of the script and the cinematography. speaks to my generation's discomfort with the status quo, malaise about the future, and hope for positive impact. loved our central character - she was raucous and elevated and singular. all in all, a delight! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member A really fun indie take on a sort of slacker mystery holiday movie. Twisty and entertaining. See it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member It's an enjoyable linklater-esque hangout movie about a couple of Millenials trying to create some meaning within their otherwise drifting and hedonistic lifestyle. It's also a slapstick noir story and comedy of errors. So basically, it's got something for everyone. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
