Leslie Felperin Guardian Although the 180-degree plot pivots start to get a little ridiculous by the end, the script zips along with such gleeful mischievousness that the ride is too fun to resist. Jul 11, 2023 Full Review Panos Kotzathanasis Asian Movie Pulse Truth be told, “Lost in the Stars” would be better if the directors took the whole narrative less seriously, but even so, the result is definitely entertaining, as much as it is pleasant to the eyes. All in all, a rather fun movie. Rated: 7 May 5, 2024 Full Review Grant Watson Fiction Machine It is a slickly produced and shot paranoid thriller. It is high on tension and energy, and – as if often the case with Chinese thrillers – knowingly ridiculous. Rated: 7/10 Apr 15, 2024 Full Review Whang Yee Ling The Straits Times (Singapore) It is nothing if not Hitchcockian with its doppelganger and femme fatale. Rated: 4/5 Aug 3, 2023 Full Review Casey Chong ScreenHK [Lost in the Stars] is wickedly entertaining from start to finish, thanks to Rui Cui and Liu Xiang’s crafty directions. Rated: 4/5 Jul 15, 2023 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix Lost in the Stars is a stylish and twist-filled thriller that delivers an appealing combination of suspense and plausible acting. What isn't so believable is a certain aspect of this conspiracy story, but most of the movie is better than its flaws. Jul 13, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
