      Critics Consensus

Lost Skeleton is clever at spoofing B-movies, but the joke isn't sustainable for its running time.

Craig G Brilliant parody of 1950s sci-fi movies. At first you think, "Yeah... it's ok." Then you find yourself quoting it for months afterward. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/24 Full Review Stephen C Masterpiece. The dialogue is bizarre, and the cast pulls it off in all of the movies done by Larry Blemire. Great vintage parody, but the hilarious dialogue really makes it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/27/23 Full Review Neko T 💀 Bad to the bone riff. 💀 P.S. The movie is good btw. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/12/22 Full Review Audience Member Very entertaining. A tribute to classic movies Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review d d Schlocky perfection. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The quintessential perfect movie! Larry Blamire's period piece so perfectly captures the feel of those poorly made B-movies of the 50s. Well deserving of it's cult status among fans. If you've never seen it, find it... then check your brain at the door before viewing. =) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Nick Schager Lessons of Darkness A bland inside joke for genre aficionados. Rated: C May 4, 2005 Full Review Adam Nayman eye WEEKLY In a way, this failure is a product of its success: so adept is Blamire's backhanded homage that it results in a film every bit as gruelling as its antecedents. Rated: 2.5/5 Apr 9, 2004 Full Review Michael Booth Denver Post It's all great fun, and Blamire has at least as promising a future as all this dot.com nonsense. Rated: 3/4 Apr 9, 2004 Full Review Allen Almachar The MacGuffin One heck of a good time. Aug 14, 2020 Full Review Debbie Lynn Elias Behind The Lens An independent production written, produced, directed and starring Larry Blamire.... Now this is a movie.
