Ben Turner The Pink Lens With a cast of characters from every gender, sexuality and race together, this is a veritable smorgasbord of rainbow diversity. But for all the film’s honourable intentions, these are underserved by its drearily flat execution. Rated: 2/5 Oct 7, 2023 Full Review Tony Asankomah GhMovieFreak “Loud & Longing” with all its notable weaknesses just feels like a decent idea which was very poorly executed. Rated: 5/10 Oct 6, 2023 Full Review Alan Ng Film Threat For me, it’s a story of people struggling along their arduous journey of life. Though our experiences are different, the battle is the same. Rated: 7.5/10 Aug 30, 2023 Full Review Alejandro Turdó Hoy Sale Cine Loud & Longing does its best to shine a light over relationship dynamics between old friends, lovers and long time couples, and what happens when hidden traumas finally hit the surface. The outcome may not be perfect, but it will sure leave you thinking. Rated: 6/10 Aug 22, 2023 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com With convincing themes of resilience and the vitality of community among others, Loud & Longing is an aching and occasionally brutal film about dealing with one's past and creating one's future alongside a family of choice. Rated: 2.5/4.0 Aug 7, 2023 Full Review Morgan Rojas Cinemacy This ultra-low-budget film tackles the darker side of chasing a dream while still being weighed down by unprocessed trauma.
