Steve D The fun script gives hope a lot to work with. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/14/24 Full Review Audience Member Colorful Paramount musicomedy based on the hit Irving Berlin stage show; the film version loses most of the music, and the hit song ("It's a Lovely Day Tomorrow") is heard mostly in the background. Moore, Zorina and Bordoni repeat their stage roles, and Hope spoofs Jimmy Stewart's filibuster from MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm watching the always reliable Bob Hope in this witty and amusing musical. It's worth the watch for Hope's steady dry humor, the excellent music and the Technicolor filming! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Very funny Bob Hope movie, filled with his unique brand of dry humor. Vera Zorina is a bland love interest, but the supporting cast is great, especially Victor Moore. Great costumes and fine sets. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Hope has fun with politics in a period piece film. Need I say more? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Bob Hope one of the best comedians of all time Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
