Audience Member Piolo and Angel act as 2nd time-lovers who hail from the cowboy tradition of Bukidnon, Philippines. Arah is independent yet caring, and has dreams of working abroad from the start, something Piolo, oops, Migo, was unaware of when she insisted on going abroad just after he had successfully wooed her (of course she also needed to pay off her father's hospital bill). Insight : Sometimes when a 2nd option presents itself, we choose to take that opportunity as it feeds personal ambitions aside from its surface logicality. Migo, to me, is too lovelorn. I didn't even notice Arah seriously loving him back in Bukidnon. Anyway, after his walking away saying he'll 'never understand', she's left to go with things hanging (such pain!) And boy am I reminded that Filipino movies depict emotions and crying to the extreme. Anyway, after Arah adjusts to her role on the ranch and accepts her boss's marriage proposal, Migo shows up. The film notably depicts the characteristic difference of how love is viewed by Filipinos compared to other cultures (epitomised in this case by the Aussie rancher). After more squabbling, the two 'pain-inflicters' eventually reunite. Sigh.. Relationships.. ouch ouch and ouch. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Bukidnon provide a majestic setting for the movie as well the Australian outback on half of the movie. Its good to know that this movie is not just about romance and love theme but also a look at the rodeo and cowboy life in the province of Bukidnon which offers something fresh and new twist to this Filipino love story movie. Aside from having a scenic setting location of the movie, it also has a heart-warming love story to share which centrally gives a lesson about letting and not letting opportunities to pass by.
