The great Autumn Reeser in her first Hallmark performance does a great job. She is funny and just a wonderful actress. The story, the production and direction were all excellent. Watch this 2012 movie, you will absolutely enjoy it.

Vintage dressing Chicago native and manic pixie dream girl Emily Jones loves her childhood city and as its unofficial historical archivist has dedicated her career to in coordinating the city's beloved Thanksgiving Day parade every year. This year, Emily is hoping for a memorable holiday in anticipation of a long-awaited proposal from her long-distance boyfriend. However, the Mayor has hired an outside Consultant Henry to evaluate its cost effectiveness and destroy everything special about the parade. Can Emily impress to Henry the specialness of Windy City's Thanksgiving event? Mistletoe Sprit Rating: Thanksgiving Marching Bands, Huge Helium Ballons, Parade Float with Santa, Horse and Carriage ride, shot of a Christmas tree lighting, mentions of Ronald Mcdonald House. Recommendation: Like a parade just before we see Santa, this Thanksgiving themed RomCom movie is a good start to the Christmas RomCom season
