      Audience Member LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH is a beautiful take on the complexity of relationships and how to navigate them in the modern world, shot with a cool Detroit vibe. Shawn Woodard shows a lot of empathy for his characters and great directing skills. Relatable and thought-provoking. The title says it all, and the director knows what he wants to say and how to say it. In this way, it's precisely the kind of story I need right now. I was hooked somewhere after the first act when Raymond gets a ride after his car breaks down. The most enjoyable parts were when characters were allowed to keep talking. The dialogue made me smile because it revealed something genuine about the heart of the story and the characters. Check out this Detroit indie treasure.
