Dana Will Kemp is always good. Lacey is always the same. She uses the word "of course" constantly. Is that on the writers or is she allowed to throw in her own words here and there. Either way, it's tiresome. Also, it's never good when the actress thinks she's cute and postures and poses. Just dial it back a bit. Other than that, the movie is very pretty; and Will is charming. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review Ogn D Lacey is either socking it away for her old age or they are working her to death Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member They could have had any number of young, good looking Flemish actors to play a good-looking, young Flemish chocolatier, but chose English-speaking actors for a number of key roles. Particularly, Will Kemp and Brittany Bristow are poorly cast for their parts. Guillaume Dolmans was almost ass bad being a French-speaker playing someone who grew up in Brugge. The accent is all wrong. The idea that an American who was never taught the art of Belgian-style chocolate-making could even come close to a competition at the Palace is far-fetched, even by entertainment standards, but ok. The premise of these films is romance and the American saves the day. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review steve d I assume there was supposed to be a story. Threadbare even for this kind of thing, Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member It was awful. We had to turn it off halfway through because a child predicted the entire plot line in the first 15 minutes. It was cheesier than a Little Caesars hot n ready mess that is considered a pizza. One star for the beautiful scenery though. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
