Sabrina G @Breefaith Feb 25 While the documentary is professionally filmed with an interesting timeline, it's ripe with an obvious headline-grab. It's based on a distant relative who is is capitalizing on a family connection several decades later. She calls herself a trauma survivor, despite a happy childhood. She admits that Bundy was always sweet to her. Hardly traumatizing. It's funny that instead of seeking professional help, her 'taruma" is healed by a book deal and subsequent documentary. That's not true catharsis. Finding out that a relative is so evil would be unsettling, but hardly victimizing. She admits to her happy family life during AND after the arrest. Even the letters with Bundy are telling. The letters reveal that Bundy didn't believe that she had the relational currency or intellect to demand personal information from him. He wanted to keep things civil with her. Yes, he was crazy, yet he opened up to others a lot more before his death row confessions. And she says that HE wanted attention...?
