Gerlando Fabio S Brilliant, refreshing British irony at its best, Waugh, Isherwood and Richardson with the whole amazing cast, truly a dream team! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/29/22 Full Review susan w Utterly unexpected! The work of the brilliant Evelyn Waugh, a favorite writer who plumbs the sharpest of poignancies. So clever & shocking in its subject: death & its attendant frivolities, absurdities & surprises of & by the bereaved survivors of the deceased. Funny & clever. Perfectly cast. Really does not age & thereby may never croak out of existence. 😉 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review david f This movie was all over the place and I couldn't really figure out what it was trying to say. A little mortuary satire, a little poetic-young-man satire, and some Hollywood cult satire thrown in. It did not add up to much. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Matthew D A darkly cynical satire that should be see by anyone and everyone with a love for the sardonic. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/25/21 Full Review Audience Member The best comedy movie ever made! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review michelle o The cameos pull you through - it's a very 60's comedy that I had never seen - Winters is by far the best part.
