Having grown tired of the big budget Hollywood nonsense, the indie film world is were I gravitate to these days, so I took a shot on Luderdale. What a sneaky good little film this is. Really enjoyed the story line as well as the acting. Captured the time period very well. Some very clever twists thrown in as well. Definitely worth your time to check it out.

For those who lived through that time and also those who wonder what that time was like, Luderdale is a must see. It captures the mood and intensity of the drug business, while developing in the view a complex empathy with the characters involved. On the surface it's a crime drama, but the extraordinary character development and twists and turns of the plot make the film. Highly recommend.

Intriguing character studies of people on the run whose survival depends on developing trust, something hard to come by in their broken worlds. Great ending. Very good acting and well produced (directing, photography, sound, etc.)
