Audience Member This movie was pretty bad. The main characters you had no clue why they were even engaged to begin with because Tiffany (the protagonist) seemed disinterested or like the relationship was ending just as it was supposed to be starting from the jump. This was confusing because they’d only been dating for about a year… Trey (the grooms best friend) comes in to seduce Tiffany but it was so obvious that, that was his angle. It seemed a bit ridiculous that as grown as Tiffany is she didn’t catch on to his game from the moment they met. Her problem was so obviously self inflicted. She only lusted after Trey because she refused to tell her future husband what she wanted with anything. She refused to stand up for herself and practice basic communication, backing down at every chance she had to have a backbone. She fails at every turn to simply express why she is unhappy in the relationship which is why she looks elsewhere for satisfaction. Her fiancé is also only a “good man” because they keep telling us that he is over and over again instead of showing us through his actions. He is very controlling and seemingly only got with Tiffany to clean up his appearance as he expects her to be this make believe version of a prim and perfect church wife; often times talking for her during important conversation or constantly correcting her and laughing at her desires…. They simply seem completely incompatible and leave you thinking why do they think they NEED to marry each other??? Nobody will die if they don’t get married. It felt forced and frustrating to watch and the ending seemed unrealistic. Why would a man whether good or bad want to be with a woman who would entertain a man sexually, so easily, who was supposed to be his brother during the week of their wedding after only knowing him for such a small amount of time???
