JuanFe R A beautiful story from an innocent point of view of a harsh reality. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/11/22 Full Review M There was a few things that I thought was inappropriate for kids. They showed a woman’s vagina without underwear when she walked up some stairs. Definitely wasn’t expecting that Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/09/21 Full Review Audience Member An unusual and deceptively simple story of an orphan - Courgette - trying to make friends in a country orphanage. The skill is in the superlative animation, particularly the eyes, and the subtle pacing of sequences as the sad histories of all the characters unfolds. It's a short film and not very much happens, so it might test the patience of those who prefer Hollywood fodder, but anyone who enjoys French cinema and artistry will enjoy it a lot. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Mesmerisingly lovely. Beautifully animated, wonderfully heart warming, real and captivating. Possibly perfect.
