Synopsis
Based on István Örkény's popular play, this Oscar-nominated drama centers on the complicated relationship between two old maids who are sisters (Margit Dayka, Elma Bulla). Conversing through a series of letters and phone conversations that grow more and more surreal, we learn about the lives of this pitiable pair, peppered with trials but little triumph in romance. Now, when a new love interest comes onto the scene, the sisters' bond is tested as they become rivals.
