Eighteen year old Romain has just graduated and makes a stop at his dealer's place to try a new pill. As he heads off to a party, he sees an injured woman on the side of the road and decides to help her, but when she gets in his car, she suddenly smashes her own head against the dashboard, bleeding out until she dies. Is this a bad trip? Or is it something else? One thing is for sure, it's only the beginning of the night.

We’ve seen viral outbreak horror movies before, following the exact same path. But MadS‘ innovation is in the clever way it tells it. Go to Full Review

The pandemonium has its symptoms, from the tweaking to the uncontrollable laughter to the never-ending nightmare that is essentially a fever-dreamish feeling. There is no coup de grâce for MadS, and a bittersweet sigh is had once it all ends. Go to Full Review

MadS is an adrenaline-fueled ride that throws you straight into chaos from the start. For 90 intense minutes, it pulls you through one heart-pounding moment after another, as tension mounts and reality slips away. Go to Full Review

Matteo T Nov 11 I think that giving 94% rating to this movie has made me lose all credibility in Rotten Tomatoes, never left a review before, i have to now, this is probably the dumbest movie i have ever watched, bad effects, bad story, annoying noises and movments by the actors, no acting no trama, zero movie technical skills, no carachter development, the movie makes zero sense, have you also turned into zombies ? how could you call yourself “critic” and score this garbage 94% ? mind boggling, the world is turning dumber by the second, i am also cancelling Midnight factory membership, not going to take RT into consideration to watch a movie, just lost 1 and a half hour of my life See more Melissa L @Agent99 Nov 2 Great zombie movie that is a cautionary tale of not doing coke... See more Kyle M Nov 1 Ever an achieved technical compel frighteningly gives a sense of envisioned realism in a uniquely raw take on the zombie genre with fearsomely inflicting performances, becoming one of the more harrowing, bleakest pictures that thrills and depresses out of terror. (B) See more Gabbie D Oct 19 I adored this movie. It was disturbing and incredibly well done. It may very well be my new favorite horror film. It reminds me of several of my favorite horror films: It Follows, with beautiful cinematography and a unique world and settling, a despair similar to As Above So Below (horrifying), and my favorite plot device - infection (Train to Busan, World War Z). The actors were so well, particularly both the female leads. See more acsdoug D @acsdoug Oct 6 It's stylish, but there's not much substance. I'll concede the actors do a credible job of basically freaking out for ninety minutes. See more Vaughn R Sep 28 Tonight we watched this one. 'MADS' Went into this one blind without knowing anything about it. Brief synopsis; A teenager stops off to see his dealer to test a new drug before heading off for a night of partying. On the way home, he drops his cigarette in his lap, pulls over and is confronted by an injured incoherent woman and the night takes a surreal turn. It's all downhill from there. Very interesting take on a zombieish concept. French language with English subtitles. Extremely good acting. It also seems to be filmed entirely in one take which gives it a bit ov a Gaspar Noe edge. Some quality gore effects and entertaining if you like this kindov thing. I really enjoyed this one. Way more than I was expecting. Vaughn Roxx gives this 4 Stars ☆☆☆☆ Sun Angel Roxx gives this 3 Stars. ☆☆☆ Total 7 Stars out ov 10 ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Check it out 🤙😎 See more Read all reviews
