Eighteen year old Romain has just graduated and makes a stop at his dealer's place to try a new pill. As he heads off to a party, he sees an injured woman on the side of the road and decides to help her, but when she gets in his car, she suddenly smashes her own head against the dashboard, bleeding out until she dies. The pandemonium has its symptoms, from the tweaking to the uncontrollable laughter to the never-ending nightmare that is essentially a fever-dreamish feeling. There is no coup de grâce for MadS, and a bittersweet sigh is had once it all ends.

So much hype, I just had to see it, and was disappointed, bored, annoyed and waited for the end. I don't understand the hype. Is it because its one take? I found it literally just annoying with unappealing characters getting infected one by one. The camera follows whoever is infected until they infect the next person, then that character disappears and we follow the newly infected character while they scream and horribly overact being crazy and insane, over and over. Kudos on the one take thing but the creativity ends there.

I’m not going to act like this is the best movie I have ever seen, but how they filmed this is pretty spectacular. I didn’t love the woman who played Ana, that was my biggest negative. The changes in the point of view and the soundtrack are also great. I do believe this is a Must See for those reasons.
