Eighteen year old Romain has just graduated and makes a stop at his dealer's place to try a new pill. As he heads off to a party, he sees an injured woman on the side of the road and decides to help her, but when she gets in his car, she suddenly smashes her own head against the dashboard, bleeding out until she dies. Is this a bad trip? Or is it something else? One thing is for sure, it's only the beginning of the night.

Amy Nicholson FilmWeek (LAist) Oh my goodness, the first hour, watch that, turn it off. Oct 24, 2024 Full Review Kristy Puchko Mashable MadS is a viciously enthralling thriller you don't want to miss. Oct 23, 2024 Full Review Meagan Navarro Bloody Disgusting We’ve seen viral outbreak horror movies before, following the exact same path. But MadS‘ innovation is in the clever way it tells it. Rated: 2.5/5 Oct 23, 2024 Full Review John Daniel Tangalin The Cinema Spot The pandemonium has its symptoms, from the tweaking to the uncontrollable laughter to the never-ending nightmare that is essentially a fever-dreamish feeling. There is no coup de grâce for MadS, and a bittersweet sigh is had once it all ends. Rated: 4.5/5 Jul 19, 2025 Full Review Cody Allen Geek Vibes Nation MadS is an adrenaline-fueled ride that throws you straight into chaos from the start. For 90 intense minutes, it pulls you through one heart-pounding moment after another, as tension mounts and reality slips away. Rated: 8/10 Jul 18, 2025 Full Review Julian Singleton Cinapse A visceral, real-time primal scream of a thrill ride. Jul 11, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Vaughn R Tonight we watched this one. 'MADS' Went into this one blind without knowing anything about it. Brief synopsis; A teenager stops off to see his dealer to test a new drug before heading off for a night of partying. On the way home, he drops his cigarette in his lap, pulls over and is confronted by an injured incoherent woman and the night takes a surreal turn. It's all downhill from there. Very interesting take on a zombieish concept. French language with English subtitles. Extremely good acting. It also seems to be filmed entirely in one take which gives it a bit ov a Gaspar Noe edge. Some quality gore effects and entertaining if you like this kindov thing. I really enjoyed this one. Way more than I was expecting. Vaughn Roxx gives this 4 Stars ☆☆☆☆ Sun Angel Roxx gives this 3 Stars. ☆☆☆ Total 7 Stars out ov 10 ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Check it out 🤙😎 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/28/25 Full Review alex w What happened to the director's brain when a textchart lit up in it: DO WE REALLY, ACTUALLY NEED ANOTHER ZOMBIE FILM? Nothing. The director's a zombie, and the textchart didn't do much lighting up. I thought this was going to be interesting. I was badly cheated. Zero points for shooting it in one shot. Just another bandwagon jumped on. Zero points for "edgy" teenage house party footage. Been done to death recently in Euphoria, and its ilk. And zero points to the media owners who pay their "pro" critics' wages. You're encouraging unoriginal film: your critics awarded this one over 90%. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/14/25 Full Review Tom S I don't think I've ever been more annoyed by a film. It's absolutely awful. The plot is not existent. The dialogue is like they were all given separate scrips from different films. The way it was shot was okay, I'll give it that. But absolutely do not waste your time on this garbage. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/04/25 Full Review Muhammad T The drugs and gore theme is ridiculous, too overthought, although they tried to give a touch of realism to the possibility of a villain, no one could be scared by the possibility of a drug turning you into a murderer, this realism is so overthought that it is unrealistic. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/24/25 Full Review Vee A Snore. Slow plot if you could even call it a plot. Wouldn’t have even finished it but after 30 minutes I felt pot committed. Wish I had just stopped watching. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/21/25 Full Review Spike D Alright film you win, I won't take drugs. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/02/25 Full Review Read all reviews
