Eighteen year old Romain has just graduated and makes a stop at his dealer's place to try a new pill. As he heads off to a party, he sees an injured woman on the side of the road and decides to help her, but when she gets in his car, she suddenly smashes her own head against the dashboard, bleeding out until she dies. Is this a bad trip? Or is it something else? One thing is for sure, it's only the beginning of the night.

Amy Nicholson FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) Oh my goodness, the first hour, watch that, turn it off. Oct 24, 2024 Full Review Kristy Puchko Mashable MadS is a viciously enthralling thriller you don't want to miss. Oct 23, 2024 Full Review Meagan Navarro Bloody Disgusting We’ve seen viral outbreak horror movies before, following the exact same path. But MadS‘ innovation is in the clever way it tells it. Rated: 2.5/5 Oct 23, 2024 Full Review Georgi Petkov Loud and Clear Reviews David Moreau’s MadS pulls off a unique kind of apocalyptic horror experience—one that is scarce on gore but abundant in dizzying anxiety and paranoia. Bruno S MadS is insane. frenetic and kinetic while also driving the story in an engaging and intelligent way. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/16/24 Full Review Hugo S After a drugs party, a group of rebellious teenagers start revealing signs of extreme violence and dementia. "MadS" is one of the most psychedelic trips ever delivered by a horror movie. Filmed in one continuous take, the narrative drags the viewer into a spiral of madness fuelled by hallucinogenic drugs and violent behaviour. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/16/24 Full Review Daniel K Well made, unique. I didn't really get it. But check it out, a lot of people really like it! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/15/24 Full Review prawnda s its watchable, but we have seen this formula of "party drug turns people to zombies" before. admittedly, this is probably the best entry to that subgenre, but it's far from perfect and it seems to waste too much time following individuals growling, twitching and gradually going insane when there should probably just be more biting or traditional zombie action. some aspects of the film are quite good, others seem too drawn out and meandering. with all of the resources available to this production, i think they could have done a lot of things more tastefully or with more depth and follow through, but they wanted to be too artsy with a concept that is decidedly kitsch. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/15/24 Full Review Kyle L A bit slow in the beginning. Definitely a twist to the horror genre from the directing Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/10/24 Full Review Rob G This is total garbage with terrible acting. Please don’t waste time on it.
