Glenda L I will re-read books but rarely will I watch a movie more than once, no matter how good it was. I've now watched The Magic of Ordinary Days three times, mostly to see nuances missed the first two times. This movie was well written, the actors gave great performances, and it leaves you wanting to revisit the characters in ten years. I just love it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/23/24 Full Review ellen m I loved the sexual tension between the pretty, sophisticated Livy and the very gentle beet farmer Ray. A beautiful love story with beautiful scenery, plot and characters. Clean and comforting. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/24 Full Review Audience Member Basically a chic-flick, but a sweet predictable story. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't get what is so great about this movie. Fans say how romantic and great it was and they have to see it again. I found it very tedious and unromantic. Nothing captured my heart like the hallmark movies usually do. Sure I liked some of the things he did for her. The characters were very bland. I didn't like how he treated his dog either! Didn't enjoy this.
