The light, droll touch applied overall lets the filmmakers get away with a few fairly graphic moments that remind us criminal violence is no joke. These also pass fleetingly enough not to sour the genial mood.

A great blend of humor, compassion, absurdity and suspense. Characters are written with great skill and come through as very convincing , despite their absurd circumstances. Non-Israelis might miss out on some nuance but are still bound to enjoy this little gem. Acting, direction and dialogue are all very good. The only reason I don't give it full five stars is because the final resolution of the plot, in the ending scene, was a bit contrived to my taste.

Not a line out of place in this very well acted Israeli serio-comedy. Intricate with a classic buddy movie feel , there are no holes in this script. Will watch again.
