An epic that should've been on the scale of the Mahabharatham that unfortunately plays out more like a disjoint collection of ideas that never really work together. One of those movies you just hope get re-made in the future because there's so much potential.

If you can endure the intentionally slow paced first act , which was made with the reference of the old spaghetti western films, malaikottai valiban is a decent watch with scenic frames and an excellent mohanlal and a gripping last act.
