Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Unexceptional teen beach movie has some potty humor. Rated: 2/5 May 29, 2019 Full Review Joel Keller Decider Malibu Rescue has more than enough kid laughs to get your preteen hooked. And the cast is appealing enough that you won't want to go to another room while your kid watches. May 13, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Cole H why the hell was the lifeguard guy (forgot his name) beefing with a 15-16 year old boy like how bored are you? Anyway this movie was alright. Corny but alright. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Leandro T It was ok. Cheesy, but kinda good Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review fede z Me encanto, es interesante, atrapa te y sobre todo dinamica Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/09/22 Full Review Audience Member Really good watch, probably won't watch again, but can recommend. (Was excited to see there is a sequel) A "troupe of misfits", "coming of age" story that is very well produced. Disney likes to push the "throw enough money at it" concept, but a good movie / show / franchise doesn't come together without a good cast that works well together. This movie has a fun cast that really embodies their characters. Overall humor is good, but it's about a California beach for privileged people, so you can only do so much with it. They specifically had to use a group of characters that "don't belong there", and that's all based on a California inside joke of the "valley" now being a place where poor (average) people live. A movie where "ha ha, you don't even have a butler" could be a conceivable joke is never going to be great unless that is the entire focal point of the movie ("Would You Rather", "Knives Out", "Paradise Falls"), and even then it needs both unique and great itself. This might be great for younger audiences, but most adults are likely to go, "Sure, that was good" and then never think about it again. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Aunque no sea la película más ambiciosa de la historia, cumple con su objetivo de entretener. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Fun family movie. Can anyone tell me who plays the funny side character "Beans"?
