Penelope Gilliatt The New Yorker 03/06/2024
The know-all ending, foreseeable from the start and having little grip on character, tells everything about primitive Sicilian ideas of sexual maturity and nothing about being grown-up. Go to Full Review
Vincent Canby New York Times 03/18/2020
Malizia is at its best when it's examining the rituals of middle-class Sicilian life (a funeral where everything goes wrong and the corpse is almost burned up) and when it is leering at its sexually driven characters. Go to Full Review

Really no more than an extended joke revolving round the attitudes of Italian men towards La Mama and women in general. Go to Full Review

Vulgarity of the most prurient sort, which has the gall of posturing as artistic restraint. Go to Full Review

I'm definitely following Laura Antonelli, this is the 70's Italian erotic cinema, the story is not much, but the details are well and beautifully structured See more sarfaraz a 10/18/2013 Malicious (Italian: Malizia) Italian sex-comedy directed by Salvatore Samperi. Starring Italy's one of hottest actresses Laura Antonelli as adult housekeeper at recently widower's house. Film was put to Berlin International Film Festival. Laura plays Angela, working as a housekeeper at recently widower with three young sons (18 - 14 - 6 respectively) - Angela is frequently sexually harassed by middle son (Nino), one of the naughty sons. And Angela's ultimate response by sleeping off with him, while also seduced by the widower who ogles her thighs and chest. Film seems to have touched on sensitive cultural acceptance, by plucking the veins of taboo due to an adult woman, being harassed sexually by young lad - Film also offers some dramatically growing scenes, the frustration of lad about Angela as well as Angela's worrisome about little Nino being slapped by his father. This all blends the movie into whole lot of entertainment.
