I finished the movie feeling really inspired to keep making art and to make cool art for the sake of making cool art, however i did feel that the movie was a little bit too long and that towards the end of the movie i was starting to lose focus and slightly drift away. Overall i would highly recommend this movie for every single artist or art loving person for it is a highly insightful journey through the mind of a great artist. See more Grace R 09/10/2024 The film overall was very inspiring but chaotic at the same time; which i enjoyed. Seeing my intro to editing professor in a different light was interesting to see. Ethan showed his true personality well with the continuity of everyone he knew in his camo suit and the mixed media and vibrant editing really brought the whole thing together. It showcases Ethan's art itself and also embodies his style through its storytelling and visuals. It gives a solid look into the artist's practice and progression, and inspires you to look deeper into his works, as you can only cover so much in one movie. It is especially inspiring to see how he developed his love and drive for creating to create a community and movement. I met Ethan in person in New York City and experienced how he continues to build genuine community and relationships through art.
