Serena Donadoni Village Voice Frenetic camerawork doesn't enliven the dull Danny, who champions ambiguity in art while pursuing cut-and-dried relationships in life. jaime h great indie. great cast. great writer/director. love this film! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I liked it. The characters were so believable, I feel like I've met them all. It was good to watch as I love NY, the real version. The love story was good, I never knew if he was really going to say it out loud to her, or kiss her. But that she felt it too. Captivating, easy to watch, thoughtful & different. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Romance with manhattan - beautifully done. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Manhattan Romance just really reflected. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review brendan n I had wondered where Katherine Waterston had come from and I finally came across one of her indie films. The film is at times bizarre but never dull, this is why indie filmmaking is leagues in front of the Hollywood mechanism. Besides Woody ALlen crafting films in his style and with unpredictable beats, filmmakers tend to fall on the Hollywood sword. The conclusion is fitting with the storytelling and I applaud writer/director for not giving the audience a super sweet finale. Waterston is the heart of the film and she is very cute and adorable, even if the film mirrors some of Chasing Amy's storyline. Interesting film that deserves more recognition. 05/10/2018. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a movie you have to see twice. The nuances are best appreciated when you have time to reflect and catch all the subtle subtext. Well written, gently executed, fun, funny & pleasant. What's not to love? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
