Audience Member The story was unique. Smuggling drugs by means of swimming underwater. The scriptwriter made it too complicated though. Too much double-crossing and inconsistency of character behaviors made the movie weak and unrealistic. Other than that this movie is pretty much a rip off of the American movie "Into the Blue". This version has a Romeo and Julia story thrown into the mix to spice things up a little bit. But the main task are smuggling drugs under water. Still, this is a great Korean movie. Marine Boy is an intense Korean crime flick with a pretty decent love story and a likable protagonist. I would say it is an entertaining couple of hours that is well-directed.
