Audience Member wow.....ummm just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is an alright movie 2 watch,.....it is nothing special 2 watch, but it is an enjoyable movie 2 watch.....its got a good cast of actors/actresses throughout this movie.,....I think that johnny Weissmuller (.R.I.P.), Suzanne dalbert (.R.I.P.), Trudy marshall (.R.I.P.), onslow stevens (.R.I.P.), Robert h Purcell (.R.I.P.), play good roles/parts throughout this movie.....I think that the director of this action/adventure movie had done a great job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie...... man this is not a classics movie 2 watch but it is quite a funny movie 2 watch.......its got a good soundtrack throughout this movie......it is nothing special 2 watch, but its got a good cast throughout this movie..... United Features Syndicate "Jungle Jim" was first a code name and later a nickname of the 4400th Combat Crew Training Squadron (CCTS) that later changed its name to the 1st Air Commando Group formed in early 1961. Members of the unit wore Jungle Jim-style slouch hats. Congo Bill man this is such an enjoyable movie 2 watch, it is quite silly but it is quite funny movie 2 watch,..... A 12-part movie serial by Universal Pictures, starring Grant Withers, was released in 1937. Columbia Pictures produced a series of 16 Jungle Jim B-movies from 1948 to 1956, set in Africa and starring Johnny Weissmuller, who had gained fame playing Tarzan. In the last three of these movies, the name "Jungle Jim" was not used, and Weissmuller used his own name, essentially playing an idealized version of himself, as did cowboy stars Roy Rogers and Gene Autry. This was because these three features were produced concurrently with a "Jungle Jim" TV series starring Weissmuller (see below) and the series had the rights to the name "Jungle Jim." (The "Weissmuller" jungle character was otherwise indistinguishable from Jungle Jim, and the final three films are commonly referred to as "Jungle Jim movies" though that is not technically accurate.) A single-season Screen Gems television series ran in 1955-56. There were 26 episodes, also starring Weissmuller man this is such a really silly movie 2 watch but it is quite a funny movie 2 watch, its got good fight scenes throughout this movie......its got a good soundtrack throughout this movie.....it is nothing special 2 watch, but it is quite an enjoyable movie 2 watch with a good cast throughout this movie...... Silly to say the least but I have a hard time not enjoying Johnny Weissmuller saving the jungle. Rated 2/5 Stars •  Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The Jungle Jim series is getting a bit tiring at this point. This plot is just a bit ridiculous. A man, Onslow Stevens, hires a couple of men, to pose as gorillas (in really phony looking gorilla suits), to frighten the local natives from going near the site where there is a buried treasure left my the Nazi's. What the Nazi's were doing in the middle of the jungle is a mystery to this day. Of course Johnny Weismuller does what he can to foil the plot. Trudy Marshall and Suzanne Dalbert co star.
