Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review 06/24/2024

The film yearns for harmony between the old and new, traditionalism and progressiveness, and by extension, echoes Taiwan’s identity, with roots in Chinese heritage and modern Western influence. Go to Full Review

The ensuing otherworldly silliness is a hilarious delight that some might find offensive since it isn’t careful or woke, but it is sweet and touching, albeit in a wildly, abrasively entertaining manner. Go to Full Review

What follows are fisticuffs, grumpy gangsters, grandmas insisting you come over for dinner, and a few shoot-outs that lead to quite a sweet, moving, satisfying finale proving that sometimes we all need a good dose of otherworldly romantic silliness. Go to Full Review

Dan Gabriel F Nov 15 Amestecul de comedie și drama este o idee proasta în acest film. As fi preferat sa fie ori comedie ori drama. Îi dau 75% fiindcă avea potențial sa fie un film bun See more Bianca L Aug 17 Absolutely cringy. It's like an Agatha Christie novel, where you always expect the unexpected, and the jokes are cheesy and cheap. The CGI is awkward and the acting is stiff. I nearly closed the show at 15 minutes, but sat down and finished the whole thing. I regret not giving into my instincts earlier. Thought the movie isn’t shocking it’s also not predictable and will leave you satisfied but still hungry for more to the story See more Kalissa H @kali_416 Jun 24 Pretty decent action+drama movie. Some scenes are very emotional, and the actors did an amazing job with their roles. You'll also learn a lot about the culture and the stereotypes that the LGBTQIA++ community faces. This film teaches important lessons and gives great insights. I highly recommend it to everyone! See more Read all reviews
