Hugo S After a tragic accident during a hypnosis session with one of her patients, a young psychiatrist decides to move to a small town to reignite her career. She then meets a troubled man who claims to be tormented by disturbing visions. Obsessed with hypnosis, the new patient reveals signs of a demonic possession that leaves behind a trail of deaths. "Mastemath" is a psychological thriller that tackles the classic confrontation between science and religion, two areas that often collide to create unimaginable horrors. However, the movie suffers from an incoherent and confusing narrative that results in a frustrating cinematic experience. French horror cinema has many gems, and this is definitely not one of them!
