Synopsis
When infamous mobster Nicholas Baron (Jose Ferrer) is accused of killing the rival who framed him, he asks Atlanta defense attorney Ben Matlock (Andy Griffith) for his counsel. Initially reluctant to take the case, Matlock agrees, though he has every reason to quit after he starts receiving death threats. But Matlock soon discovers that appearances can deceive. Despite his client's notorious profile, Baron is simply a beleaguered family man who wants to set the record straight.
