Though he is the most brilliant supervillain the world has known, Megamind is the least successful. Thwarted time and again by heroic Metro Man, Megamind is more surprised than anyone when he actually manages to defeat his longtime enemy. But without Metro Man, Megamind has no purpose in life, so he creates a new opponent, who quickly decides that it's more fun to be a bad guy than a hero.

It regurgitates plot points from earlier animated efforts, and isn't quite as funny as it should be, but a top-shelf voice cast and strong visuals help make Megamind a pleasant, if unspectacular, diversion.

It's a sassy comedy with a lot of one-liners, some of which apparently came from improvisation between Ferrell and Fey, both in good vocal form. The quality of animation is outstanding, as you would expect.

I gotta say… This was Superhero films at its peak, this is better than most Marvel or DC (especially DC) that is currently being put out over the past 16 years… WAIT it’s been 16 years already 😔, but besides that it’s definitely the best dreamworks of all time (Well second best, prince of Egypt takes the crown) it’s up there with Brandon lee’s the crow, Iron man, Sam rami’s spider man trilogy, spider man homecoming and no way home, avengers infinity war and endgame, and even Shazam 1, the entire cast did everything perfectly, caught every meme, 10/10.
