Adarsh T Memories Movie Review: Prithviraj plays a police officer who is haunted by his past in Jeethu Joseph’s Memories. Story: The film deals how a once brilliant cop, who battles his inner demons, nails a serial killer. As an actor, Prithviraj always knows what he has to do. He is fully aware of his faculties and he never stretches them beyond his limits and this is one of the reasons why he shines in his new film Memories. He plays a distraught cop, a constantly squishy and sleepy person who ambles around holding a bottle of alcohol. In Memories, Jeethu Joseph dwells on a canvas ridden with a series of murders. His ploy works because there is conviction about the way he crafts the thriller that touches religion, psychology and basic human instincts. The police find themselves dealing with a mysterious serial killer who kidnaps his victims and murders them. The dead-bodies are left dangling from a tree, a bridge and a football-post at varying intervals. Prithviraj plays Sam Alex, a cop who drowns his personal tragedies in alcohol. It’s an engaging plot and Joseph slightly goes astray as he indulges a bit too much treading along the romantic, peaceful past of Sam. The diversion slackens an otherwise well-conceived narrative. Still he strays for a while simply because he owns a pretty decent narrative constructed with attention paid to certain technical details which raise the movie to the standard of a real thriller. Prithviraj just walks away with the role, making it his own all-through the plot. He holds a good command, marking the transition from digression to commitment without making it too dramatic. Memories is an engaging watch, courtesy a decent plot and a cast that does justice to the plot. Verdict : Super - Hit. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/28/25 Full Review Audience Member It was a good movie. Kind of Sherlock Holmes: Kerala at times. I liked how religion was used especially in relation to the main character Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Add a Review (Optional) Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Not a great flick, but had a very good story to make it memorable one.the direction was not great and jeethu Joseph followed with what is he good with. Prithviraj was good and other stars also supported well even though female characters were restricted to supportive roles. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews
