Synopsis
Set in Fukuoka City during the 1950s, Toshiyuki (Hanamaru Hakata) & his wife, Chiyoko (Yasuko Tomita), run a small grocery store in the Nakasu district of Fukuoka. Toshiyuki is enthusiastic about making mentaiko. Although he is not satisfied with his mentaiko, he accepts it. One day, he hears about young Eiko's (Hana Toyoshima) pitiful situation from his son Kenichi (Soma Santoki). Kenichi and Eiko are classmates.
