Ah, the holidays. Lucy Raulie (Raye Levine) has always had a complicated relationship with her dysfunctional family, but when her mother disappears on Christmas Eve (and it's maybe Lucy's fault...) it's going to be up to Lucy to bring her family back together again, whether she knows it or not. Joined in forces (sort of...) by her older brother Tim (Daniel Desmarais) and younger sister Cynthia (Comfort Clinton) the Raulie kids may get more than they all bargained for when their eccentric father George (Joel Murray) shows up to "help" in the search.

While the main premise is more than what most families will experience – hopefully! – the relationships between the families and those in their orbit will be very familiar. It is a refreshing watch for the season.

Certain to Be a Christmas Classic The stellar cast, the funny, well-crafted script, and the spot-on soundtrack all worked together to make this family dramedy an award-worthy, must-see film. Raye Levine as Lucy was outstanding in the lead role, and Sawyer Spielberg was charismatic as her love interest. The siblings had amazing on-screen chemistry, and Joel Murphy and Susan Gallagher, as their divorced parents, gave stand-out performances. Although this is a Christmas movie, you can enjoy it anytime of year.

You've Got Mail meets It's A Wonderful Life. A modern day Christmas classic. All movies big and small after ten minutes, the so called crossing of the Rubicon moment for all films, the question of whether it holds your attention and makes you want to watch more is all that matters. This film does that and more. The performances are off the charts charming. Raye Levine not only carries the film, she outright steals it. Shout out to actors Comfort Clinton and Sawyer Spielberg who also turn in great performances. Brilliantly shot, and directed with nuance, Merry Good Enough is just what this Christmas season needed. A Must watch.

Modern holiday film with humanity — A well balanced modem perspective, very real, great cast that allows you to feel a part of the story. The cast delivers moments that just about anyone will be able to relate to and the chemistry between some is especially organic. Humanity and kindness, owning one's actions, growing as an individual, and recognizing we are not perfect and there is no perfect. That point, there is no perfect — is the key. None of us are, we all have faults and as the characters do, we hopefully progress and grow as humans and improve where we can on the train ride of life. Great title too.

Terrific story depicting the range of emotion and realistic interactions that occur when separated siblings and parents get together. Wonderful dialog delivered perfectly by actors who like the characters they portray. A fresh look at going home for the holidays.
