Ah, the holidays. Lucy Raulie (Raye Levine) has always had a complicated relationship with her dysfunctional family, but when her mother disappears on Christmas Eve (and it's maybe Lucy's fault...) it's going to be up to Lucy to bring her family back together again, whether she knows it or not. Joined in forces (sort of...) by her older brother Tim (Daniel Desmarais) and younger sister Cynthia (Comfort Clinton) the Raulie kids may get more than they all bargained for when their eccentric father George (Joel Murray) shows up to "help" in the search.

Keene’s feature film debut and Kennedy’s second time at bat suggests that the filmmaking friends have a lot of room for growth and need to decide if they want to embrace their commercial leaning or work on their indie sensibility Go to Full Review

Feels like a film made by amateur YouTubers with awkwardness seeping through almost every frame. Go to Full Review

While the main premise is more than what most families will experience – hopefully! – the relationships between the families and those in their orbit will be very familiar. It is a refreshing watch for the season. Go to Full Review

Though sincere it's nevertheless a leaden comedy and not much more than a vacuous Christmas drama. Go to Full Review

Kimberly K May 24 Grab some popcorn and enjoy. Funny, wry, and terrifically relatable, you will recognize kindred stories here. Have an odd family? Crazy holiday stories? Somehow, love and persistence always wins, and has us laughing through our tears. Enjoy this tale! Merry, merry! See more Shakti R Jan 1 Great movie! This American family had some broken pieces and amidst struggles + the Christmas lights managed to find The emotional glue to come together to find some comfort and joy. We're definitely buying our next tree at Russell's garden center! See more Dec 21 A touching movie of a family and people brought together not just because of Christmas, but through other events that happened in their lives. Nice acting, story, and the way it was put together. A movie for anyone to watch at Christmas. Just enough warmth and mush to make us feel that, although things don’t always go the way we hoped, there is always hope and a way we can get through it. See more Fiona R 03/14/2024 Really charming Christmas classic! With great acting. Raye and Comfort shine! See more Cindi S 03/14/2024 Certain to Be a Christmas Classic The stellar cast, the funny, well-crafted script, and the spot-on soundtrack all worked together to make this family dramedy an award-worthy, must-see film. Raye Levine as Lucy was outstanding in the lead role, and Sawyer Spielberg was charismatic as her love interest. The siblings had amazing on-screen chemistry, and Joel Murphy and Susan Gallagher, as their divorced parents, gave stand-out performances. Although this is a Christmas movie, you can enjoy it anytime of year. See more Rory D 02/03/2024 You've Got Mail meets It's A Wonderful Life. A modern day Christmas classic. All movies big and small after ten minutes, the so called crossing of the Rubicon moment for all films, the question of whether it holds your attention and makes you want to watch more is all that matters. This film does that and more. The performances are off the charts charming. Raye Levine not only carries the film, she outright steals it. Shout out to actors Comfort Clinton and Sawyer Spielberg who also turn in great performances. Brilliantly shot, and directed with nuance, Merry Good Enough is just what this Christmas season needed. A Must watch. See more Read all reviews
