nick s A very thin story that movies along at a glacial pace. The acting is a little hit and miss with even Lithgow, the most accomplished actor, delivering some stagey lines. A slow moving story like this needs good directing and cinematography. Unfortunately this appeared to be filmed by a television director and a point-and-shoot videoographer, which made for particularly dull viewing. Good effort from costume and set departments. Actually Lithgow still put in a good effort... maybe I shouldn't knock him. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/13/24 Full Review Jane e I'm giving this film 1.5 stars for the effort put in to make it otherwise it's a stinker of a movie! Disjointed, unexplained and confusing. It's an A list cast & excellent acting with the challenging script they had to make work but it just didn't fly at all. The director must have had great networking skills to harness the names to do this film, & the end result must had the entire cast crawling under their seats with embarrassment. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/11/24 Full Review nancy grace l Heavens to Betsy, this movie could not have been worse. It's disjointed, dramatic, ridiculous and literally made no sense. Jodie Fosters character barely said 10 words the entire movie and always had a confused look on her face. Don't even get me started on John Lithgow. 😳😳 It is truly awful. BEWARE. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/19/23 Full Review georgan g Although the acting is superb, the plot is too slow. The story is interesting and different, which I like. Jodie's accent isn't great whereas John Lithgow sounds amazing. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review steve d Foster is good enough to earn a watch.
