I'm sure many will find this pretentious, nonsensical, and boring. It has some funny lines and amuzing moments...it's also an interesting film in the way the mix up the timeline, so the story reveals itself in small pieces scattered about...and then the snake bites it's tail like an ouroboros to either confuse the audience or achieve triumph of the storytelling craft. Cinematography was also good (excellent at times, could have been better in other moments). Recommended for art movie connoisseurs. I'll need to be seeing this one again... Quiza se esfuerza tanto en ser profunda que naufraga en la maraña del sinsentido y lo complejo. También parece que esta hecha en base a personajes pensados primero y la historia acomodada a ellos. Angeles caídos, vírgenes, lluvia torrencial, viejitos borrachines, añoranza de morir, enfrentamientos con el pasado, venganza. Todo ello converge en la cantina del pueblo donde el mezcal sirve para curar almas, dar valor, regocijo, cobijo, resguardo, compañía..... Fotografia estupenda.
