Audience Member This film was so necessary... I wish Michael Franti would be given due credit for his courageous work as a musician and artist. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Is it possible to disarm hostility and warring nations with some dreadlocks and an acoustic guitar? Maybe for an hour or two. This documentary confirms at least musicians all over the world are not afraid to play a tune together. I enjoy Michael Franti and Spearhead's music(All Rebel Rockers is a great album, with better songs than those in this documentary), however the documentary comes off a bit flat, the anger and frustration displayed by the Iraqis and Palestinians has been well-documented. The hatred of the United States by the fire-breathing Iraqi upper-class woman is memorable. There are music video montages interspersed throughout the documentary, so this one is probably best for avid fans. Overall, Franti's uniqueness and interest in international politics and bravery to travel into war zones is more admirable than the resulting documentary.
