Mid-Century is a fun throwback watch for the Halloween season. It gives vibes of Hitchcock and 1950s paranormal thrillers, with modern day issues like #MeToo and COVID-19 brought to the surface. Chelsea Gilligan and Sarah Hay shine, and Stephen Lang hams it up with a delightfully morbid performance. It's definitely worth a watch if you like ghost stories with some twists and turns.

omg, I never do this but this film was sic. didn't know what to expect but my mom loves a walk to remember and we watched this together last night. I came in when the guy was in the pool with the ghost and made my mom go back to the beginning. . I usually know what's going to happen with these horror movies but this hits different. seriously don't know how they came up with this. stick with it for the straight fire ending.

Mid-Century is extremely well done. The characters are gripping and well developed. The title ties together multiple themes in the story. It was really scary and the ending was very powerful!

This imaginative movie has it all: biting social satire, fine acting, creepy chills, unpredictable twists and a mix of many genres. Is it a home-invasion robbery? Is it a ghost story? Is it a lesson in the occult? Somehow it mixes it all very well.
