Alan A Amazing film. Absolutely loved it. Great story, cinematography, music score, acting...just brilliant! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/24 Full Review Chris K Fun horror movie for fans of the handsome Shane West. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Sam C Stellar visuals. Shane West is also tremendous in this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/23/23 Full Review Kyle C Mid-Century is a fun throwback watch for the Halloween season. It gives vibes of Hitchcock and 1950s paranormal thrillers, with modern day issues like #MeToo and COVID-19 brought to the surface. Chelsea Gilligan and Sarah Hay shine, and Stephen Lang hams it up with a delightfully morbid performance. It's definitely worth a watch if you like ghost stories with some twists and turns. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/24/23 Full Review Madison R omg, I never do this but this film was sic. didn't know what to expect but my mom loves a walk to remember and we watched this together last night. I came in when the guy was in the pool with the ghost and made my mom go back to the beginning. . I usually know what's going to happen with these horror movies but this hits different. seriously don't know how they came up with this. stick with it for the straight fire ending. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/18/23 Full Review Joyce S Mid-Century is extremely well done. The characters are gripping and well developed. The title ties together multiple themes in the story. It was really scary and the ending was very powerful! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Richard Whittaker Austin Chronicle Mid-Century undoubtedly waits a while to reveal its most intriguing secrets, but once a certain secret door is opened, it turns out to be a des res with fascinating underpinnings. Jun 21, 2022 Full Review Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News “Mid-Century” opens with a murder and it all seems to be building to an obvious conclusion, and then a wicked twist slaps you in the face and changes everything. Does it all work? Oh, no, but you can’t help but admire its ambition. Rated: 2.5/4 Jun 16, 2022 Full Review Laura Hiros Rincón de cine Sonja O'Hara, won best director at LAFF, her film has good performances, a couple of good jumps and the premise that the real scary movie happened in the 60s where man ruled, woman obeyed and past that everything was permissible. {Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3/5 Dec 18, 2023 Full Review Michael Szymanski DreamWeaverArts.org This imaginative movie has it all: biting social satire, fine acting, creepy chills, unpredictable twists and a mix of many genres. Is it a home-invasion robbery? Is it a ghost story? Is it a lesson in the occult? Somehow it mixes it all very well. Rated: 8/10 Dec 18, 2023 Full Review Matthew Turner Action Reloaded This intriguing horror plays some entertaining games with genre expectations and pulls off a handful of decent twists in the process.
