Our leads are great in their roles and the film unnervingly works in some myth into its mystery but the quiet disturb can only hold attention for so long until Midnight Swim's mystery goes from flowing to stagnant.

6.6/10 The performances in this film were very good and with the mythology really carried the film throughout. It was interesting enough and mysterious, although it never reach the point of being completely creepy. But overall, it was a nice story with strong performances and a very interesting mythology behind it all. ~August 17, 2015~
