Audience Member I first saw this film on Tv the year after its release in 1993. Even though it mirrors its predecessor " The Hand that rocks the cradle" in many ways. This movie was well worth watching and owning. With any good thriller the most threatening of all Villains is one , on whom much trust is bestowed. In this case the Nanny ( OliviaD'Abo) puts on a perfect performance using manipulation to achieve her ultimate destructive goal. Targeting not only the vulnerable child she slowly attempts to convert the father into her web of deception. Overall the storyline was fascinating and never failed to shroud some of its elements in mystery and magic. Unfortunately the movie never received recognition or is particularly well known. However Elizabeth Moss as Christina the young child proves herself as a natural born star for future Cinema classics! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member i like this movie, its awesome, i love the painting the father made of Kristina (who wasnt anna), chrissy (the daughter) and him but in da middle theres a cage with kate locked in it. Kristina is very eautiful but not a very good actor Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Olivia d'Abo is sexy and sinister as a nanny who wants to make a little girl she cares for the bride of satan. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Quite boring. It doesn't happen anything interesting. She doesn't sound like she come from Sweden. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Seen 22.11.07. An ok thriller for a TV evening, but not something I would appreciate to look at in a cinema. Oliva d'Abo was the girl that kept me in the chair. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member A nice thriller movie about an nanny that wants to take over the whole family but the wife and mother fights back.
