Art E "Midsummer Madness" by Alexander Hahn is a delightful film that uniquely captures the magic of the midsummer festival. Set in Latvia, the story follows a colorful mix of characters from different parts of the world, each visiting the small Baltic country for various reasons. The cinematography is stunning. Hahn uses the picturesque landscape and vibrant festivities to create an atmosphere that is both inviting and mystical. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/22/25 Full Review Audience Member Mildly amusing at times, the film, bogged down with too many storylines and limited development, does not leave much of a lasting impression. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member eilinį kartą latviai parodė lietuviams kaip reikia filmus kurti :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting characters with a funny plot. Unfortunately the "big twist" at the end isn't that big and not that much of a twist either. And wtf does a kangaroo hopping around in Latvia? Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member sometimes stupid, often hilarious, and terribly uneven. being a latvian, i think i can appreciate it a little more than most, but there are still some good laughs to be had here by everyone.
