Audience Member Not worth watching. But has Warren Williams Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Story of a psychic, a swindler. But also a kind of strange, rather touching, love story. Love can make you try to go straight, but the economy makes you go bad. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review dave j Tuesday, October 30, 2012 (1933) Mind Reader DRAMA Con artist and fake fortune teller Chandra (Warren William) comes to an emotional as well as ethical stumbling block as soon as he falls in love and takes Sylvia (Constance Cummings) in as his personal secretary. Despite it's year, the interesting moments are the showcase of scams they pull which requires more than one person. And I also like the fact that the African American character wasn't dumbed nor degraded down as a second class citizen, it would've been nice if the film showed more of him. 3 out of 4 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member good carny melodrama Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
