Audience Member It's a good message but it's really vage. They talk a lot about the problem and come with a very vage solution without really adressing how to actually "do minimalism". The cinematography is amazing though. The whole athmosphere fits the moral perfectly it's very clean and clear. The people in the story are interesting but the docu definitly feels like your watching a very beautifully made TED talk. Over all if you're thinking of getting into minimalism I think it is a very good point to start. If you're really looking for concrete tips and tricks this is not the documentary you're looking for. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Hard to watch. Would have been better if they used real documentary style, but for some reason the director had the two non-actors performing these theatrical monologues to tell their story, instead of just being real and talking to an interviewer. It probably works when they're traveling the country and talking to audiences, but it's distracting and amateurish for a doc. Lots of hipster cringe moments from two guys who are super excited about who they are. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Very inspiring, entertaining, and I just have to mention the really good cinematography. Matt D'Avella is making a name of himself with his talent. Didn't expect much of it though, but it was very satisfying. My grade: A Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Well done. These guys capture the true essence of minimalism. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review spencer p Much like its message, you may have to be at a certain self-aware stage of your life to appreciate and take inspiration from the lifestyles of this doc, but I was lucky enough to be at that stage myself, and it was my kind of eye opener. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review avant s after listening to their podcast for years, its interesting to see their story being put on screen.
