Audience Member a good period chiller, supposedly based on a true story. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Based on an allegedly true event, "Miss Morison's Ghosts" is a low key "time slip" story, a great part of whose charm for me is that it reunites two actresses from my favorite movie, "The Elephant Man": Wendy Hiller and the much too rare Hannah Gordon. Contrary to what the packaging and the title suggest, the film does not try to be scary in any way. It is about two ladies of 1901 who are confronted with an experience they cannot explain, and the impact it has on their lives and careers.
